FAQ

1. How Do I "Log In" & Why Should I Log In?

How Do I Log In?

To log in or join, please click the "Login/Join" tab at the top of any page in our website. If you already have an account with us, simply enter your email address and password. If you don't have an account yet, click on the appropriate "Register" button.

You will be immediately prompted to fill out a short, easy form. Once complete, you will instantly receive an acknowledgement email. It's that simple!

Note: If for some reason your registration was unsuccessful, you will see an "error" message explaining the reason.

Assuming you registered successfully, you will be automatically logged in.

Why Should I Log In?

Individuals and dealers and brokers will want to register and log into our system for numerous reasons.

One example is our "Wish List" feature. Let's say you are looking for a specific used airplane or aircraft and you can't find it in our database. Simply fill out a "Wish List" form. Once the specific used airplane or aircraft that you "wished for" gets into our database, we will instantly email you a link to the listing.

Another example is our "Virtual Hanger" feature. Let's say you find a used airplane or aircraft that interests you, and you would like to review it at a later time. Simply add the aircraft to your "Hangar" by clicking on the "Add to Virtual Hangar" button directly below the picture in the listing. Next, all you have to do is come back, log in, click on "Virtual Hangar" and you can quickly and effortlessly look at the used airplanes and aircraft that interest you.
2. I Forgot My Password. Now What?

When you login, we will always ask for your email address and password. If you forget your password, simply complete the following 3 steps:

  1. From the "Log In" page, click on the "Forgot Your Password" link. A new screen will open and ask that you to enter your email address.

  2. Enter your email address

  3. Click: "Send".

You will receive an email with a reset link. You can either click the link from your email, or you can copy and paste it in your browser and reset your password.

HINT: Passwords are case sensitive. For example, let's assume when you first signed up with AircraftforSale.com you entered your password as "Mark123."

From that point forward, whenever you log in you must enter the characters exactly as you did when you originally signed up. For example, if you enter your password as "mark123," the system will not recognize your password because you forgot to capitalize the letter "M" (Mark123).
3. Why Didn't My Search Query Find Any Used Airplanes Or Aircraft?

When a search query yields little or no results, chances are your search criteria may be too specific. Simply start over, but this time leave more of the search field options blank.
4. How Do I Contact The Seller of A Used Airplane Or Aircraft?

The seller's contact information is listed in the "Contact Information" section of the listing.

Simply call the seller, or use our contact form to send them an email. Both of these options are located in the "Contact Seller" section of each listing.
5. Can AircraftforSale.com Help Buyers Arrange Financing?

Yes. However, we recommend that you first work with the dealer or broker who is selling the used airplane or aircraft. In many cases, they will have special financing options that assist them in moving their inventory and allow them to pass along those specials to you.

HIf you want to work outside their network or get multiple quotes, however, we can certainly help. AircraftforSale.com works exclusively with www.AirplaneFinancing.com, the innovator of the no email, no social security number quote system.

Once at AirplaneFinancing.com, simply enter the tail number of your used airplane or aircraft, and the AirplaneFinancing.com team will assist you. In fact, they will be many steps ahead in the financing process (since they will automatically receive all the information about the used airplane or aircraft after you enter the tail number).

Dealers & Brokers: If you do not offer financing and a potential buyer needs financing or asks you if you "know anyone," simply direct the buyer to www.AirplaneFinancing.com. AirplaneFinancing.com will do its best to assist your buyer.
6. How Much Does It Cost And How Do I Put My Listings On AircraftforSale.com?

If you look at the top of any page you will notice the "Sell Your Aircraft" tab. If you click on this tab a new page will appear with the following two options:
